Bookmobile event at 75Q!

In collaboration with My Brother's Keeper and the United Way, District 75 celebrated the first ever Bookmobile event at 75Q! We had almost 300 D75 families in attendance for a day of fun and learning! Children designed their own canvas bags and filled them with lots of books donated by The United Way and our District team. The guest reader, author S.P. Brown read excerpts from her book, Kyrie's School Blues and guest reader, Executive Director of Bronx Children's Museum and author Denise Adusei, read from her book, Cesaria Feels the Best. Families participated in Spin Art activities, had their faces painted, danced along with the DJ, ate birthday cake gelato, cotton candy and much more! We thank Principal Thorbs and his team for hosting the event and for making it such a special day for our D75 families.
