School Wellness

District 75 Office of School Wellness Programs continues to engage in promising practices that ensure the health of students through the involvement of families, staff and other key stakeholders. This work is an outgrowth of robust and meaningful collaborations with city agencies and community-based organizations throughout New York City that assist us with making wellness a priority in schools and in the lives of our families. Through these initiatives, wellness has been infused into in-school instructional programming and family trainings which afford opportunities for students to develop and practice skills that positively impact their social, emotional, physical and academic development. Furthermore, every year, we plan and lead student/family wellness activities for our Borough-based Family Fun Day events. Through activities of our diverse initiatives, over 10,000+ have been served in grades K-12.
